Hello!

I am an illustrator and animator living in SLC! I make a speculative fiction comic called "Miamaska" and a fantasy adventure comic called "Trial of the Sun." I also draw a lot of character art for commissions!

Commissions are currently closed, but you can find pricing info here for the future. (Last updated Aug 2020)

Character Art

Small Orders:
500x500px icon: 18 USD for first, 15 USD for 2nd-4th, 12 USD for 5th-10th600x1200px limited portrait: 35 USD for the first, 30 USD for 2nd-8th
These are invoiced immediately upon acceptance, with an estimated completion date of 4 weeks.

Base prices assume characters already designed and a written description kept to a minimum. For characters being designed for the first time, expect an additional 5-15 USD.

No progress updates are given. Revisions are limited to fixes I can do in under 5 minutes, and must be requested within one week of the commission being completed.

Full character art (2000+px canvas):
Colored sketch: 55 USDFull render: 105 USD
These are not invoiced until the week before the starting date. They are typically completed within that week unless of a large group.

Revisions are allowed after the sketching phase for both. Full renders also get a chance to review color flats. Final minor adjustments are also allowed if the request is made within a week of completion (color adjustments, overpainting small details-- but no re-drawing without an additional fee).

Base prices assume characters already designed and a written description kept to a minimum. For characters being designed for the first time, expect an additional 10-40 USD.

Discounts may be applied for multiple characters if there is significant overlap in the posing.

Model sheet orders (2000px+):
Flat model sheet: 105 USDRoleplayer’s bundle: 105 USD Colored sketch model sheet: 175 USDFull render model sheet: 300 USD
These are not invoiced until the week before the starting date. They are typically completed within a week to ten days of starting -- unless including more poses, characters, or clothing than the examples listed.

These order types do not require fully designed character references, though the price may be adjusted for complex clothing/armor, unusual anatomy, and especially long descriptions.

FAQ

What do I need to get started?
I will go through the following checklist before confirming you to my queue:
Order type, characters involvedCharacter referencesCharacter personality and expression/pose you’d likePaypal email I will invoiceHow you want to be credited as the commissioner (username/nickname/anonymous)
If you include everything in your first email, that will make things go a lot quicker!

How do I pay? What payment methods do you accept?
I use paypal invoices. You will need to give me your paypal email address so I can send it when I'm ready to take your order.

Do not attempt to send money before I am ready to begin or outside of the invoice. It will not be considered payment.

Do you do R18+ commissions/art?
Nope!

Do you have prints available?
Only via commissions at the moment! A lot of my art is commissioned or fan art of other properties so I'd feel weird selling prints for non-original stuff.

I need a commission done quickly! How soon can I expect it to be completed?
Please let me know of your deadline in your first email. I may offer a "queue jumping" priority fee in the future, but keep in mind I'm often booked weeks in advance!

Can you draw (for) me for free? Or work on a project I'd like to pay you for, but not until after it's completed?
I can't take work that might pay later when I have reliable work that will pay up front! Please understand my time and energy are limited, and I have housing, food, and bills to pay for, too!

Contact

Please email me to learn the current commission queue time at [email protected]. If commissions are open, the wait list is usually 4-6 weeks. If commissions are closed and you are not a return client, I will ask if you want to be on an early notice mailing list for next season.

All commissions require full payment upfront, but I do not ask for payment until the week I'm ready to begin. Larger orders may pay in segments that will be discussed!
